1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("these Terms") set out the conditions for using the StockWatch AI app ("the app") provided by StockWatch Labs ("we", "us"). By using the app you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

2. About the App

The app retrieves share prices and news for stocks listed on major stock exchanges around the world and uses AI to summarise and analyse them in the language you choose. You can see the full list of supported markets in the app under Settings → Markets covered. For some stocks no relevant news is found; in that case the app provides a summary based on the price move alone.

Trading hours and market open/closed indicators are approximate. They do not reflect exchange holidays or unscheduled changes to trading hours, and must not be relied on to determine whether an order can be placed.

The information provided in the app, including AI-generated summaries and analysis, is for informational purposes only and is not a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. All investment decisions are yours alone and are made at your own risk.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not do any of the following when using the app:

Decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise analyse the app
Use the app to provide investment advice to third parties
Abuse the app's features so as to place excessive load on any API
Reproduce or redistribute content from the app without permission
Act in breach of any law or public order and morals

4. Accuracy of Information

Share prices and news shown in the app are obtained from third-party sources (Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, Google News and Financial Modeling Prep). AI summaries and analysis in version 2.8 and later are generated using Amazon Bedrock on AWS; AI summaries in version 2.7 and earlier use OpenAI technology. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of this information. Prices may be delayed depending on the source.

52-week highs and lows are calculated from closing prices and do not include intraday highs and lows, so they may differ from the figures shown by your broker. The next dividend date is an estimate derived from the intervals between past payments and is not a confirmed schedule.

AI summaries and analysis may contain errors. Always check primary sources before making any significant investment decision.

5. Disclaimer

We accept no liability for any of the following:

Losses arising from investment decisions made on the basis of information in the app
Errors or inaccuracies in AI summaries or analysis
Failures, specification changes or discontinuation of third-party services (Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, Google News, OpenAI, AWS, Firebase, Financial Modeling Prep and others)
Malfunction of the app caused by your network conditions or device
Temporary or permanent suspension of the app

6. Changes to and Suspension of the Service

We may add to, change or discontinue features of the app without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the app belong to us or to their rightful owners. Copyright in news content belongs to the respective news publisher or original author. You may not reproduce or redistribute information obtained through the app without the rights holder's permission.

8. Subscription

The app offers a paid plan, "StockWatch AI Pro" (monthly, auto-renewing), which removes the limits on certain features.

The price is the amount shown in the App Store and is charged to your Apple ID
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect from the next renewal date; no pro-rata refund is given for the remainder of the current period
Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple Inc. Whether a refund is granted is subject to Apple's policies

The scope of the free tier and the contents of the paid plan may change without prior notice.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute between us and you concerning the app or these Terms, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms as needed. Amended Terms take effect once posted on this page. If a change is significant, we will announce it in the app or on this page.

These Terms were originally written in Japanese. This English text is provided for convenience; if the two versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
